On September 19, 2023, four families (totaling 10 individuals) explored the River Spree around the Insel der Jugend and two beaver islands in paddle boats. The main focus of this excursion was to collect waterborne trash for upcycling. Additionally, the families had exploration cards to answer the question: “What is floating around here?” Water samples collected were later examined using glasses and magnifying glasses.
